Description:

Are you a positive, detail oriented Accounts Receivable Processing Specialist? Do you live in the Atlanta area and feel comfortable going into the office 2-3 days per week? Come join a team developing a custom accounting software geared specifically for hospitality companies and properties. This team has been voted top work places, and bring passion to their work 5 days a week. The mission is to drive hospitality companies to further success.

*Qualified candidates will be able to go into the Lawrenceville, GA office 2-3 days per week

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers regarding their payment method (ex: updating them on expiring Credit Cards and obtaining a new payment method).
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
  • Process and apply payments to customer accounts and reconciling manually applied payments to bank statements
  • Attending weekly meetings and trainings
  • Updating and maintaining customer accounts in CRM to ensure all contact information is accurate
  • Proactively call and recieve calls from customers via phone and email (roughly 20-50 outbound calls a day), these will typically be from the “declined or unapplied” status. 

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Business or Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ year of experience in a related accounting position.
  • Experience working in the hotel industry is highly preferred. 
  • Required strong written and verbal skills skills in English.
  • Comfortable being customer facing and dealing with sensitive conversations. 
  • Professional experience updating/maintaining an accounting system (ex: Quickbooks, SageIntact, etc) on a daily basis. Familiarity with Stax Bill specifically is preferred, but not required.
