Description:

We are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our cybersecurity startup. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial role in expanding our brand awareness, engaging with industry influencers, securing public speaking opportunities, developing marketing strategy, go-to-market strategy and execution, brand building, and supporting content creation and digital marketing campaigns. Responsibilities:

  • Influencer Engagement: Identify, reach out to, and collaborate with small and medium-sized business influencers on platforms like YouTube, X, and LinkedIn. Build relationships to promote our cybersecurity solutions and raise brand visibility.
  • Event Speaking Opportunities: Research and secure speaking opportunities at industry events, both live and online. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations on cybersecurity topics to showcase our expertise.
  • Content Creation: Generate high-quality content, including blogs, customer-facing product marketing documents, and related content, to educate our audience, highlight our solutions, and establish thought leadership.
  • Digital Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to enhance awareness and drive call-to-action initiatives, leveraging various online channels and platforms.
  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine marketing strategies aligned with our business goals and target audience.
  • Tactical Execution: Lead the execution of tactical elements within the marketing plan, including but not limited to advertising campaigns, content creation, social media initiatives, and events.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights, using data to inform and refine strategies.
  • Budget Management: Manage and optimize marketing budgets to ensure effective allocation of resources and ROI.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing teams, designers, content creators, and external agencies to ensure seamless execution of marketing strategies.
  • Content Creation: Generate marketing collateral, including but not limited to articles, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and product marketing documents, focused on cybersecurity solutions.
  • Editing & Proofreading: Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of marketing content by editing and proofreading materials to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Sales Support: Develop sales enablement content, such as sales scripts, email templates, and presentation materials, to assist the sales team in effectively communicating our cybersecurity offerings.
  • Event Promotion: Craft event-specific content, including event descriptions, brochures, and promotional materials, to engage audiences and drive participation in cybersecurity events.
  • Public Relations: Collaborate with the PR team to create press releases, media kits, and articles that highlight our cybersecurity achievements and thought leadership.
  • Content Strategy: Contribute to content strategy development, ensuring alignment with cybersecurity marketing goals and target audience interests.

Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience: Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, preferably within the cybersecurity or IT industry. A track record of successful influencer engagement, event participation, and content creation is highly valued.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with influencers, create compelling content, and present at industry events.
  • CRM Proficiency: Proficiency with CRM software, particularly HubSpot, to manage influencer and client relationships effectively.
  • Social Media & SEO Platforms: Experience with LinkedIn, X, SEO (Google, Bing), Social Media Advertising Campaign development, and related for brand building.
