Location: Remote

Summit Human Capital is seeking a 100% Remote Entry-Level Tier I Helpdesk Technician to support our client and their Mission within the U.S. Department of Transportation. The ideal candidate will have the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for answering queries, resolving tickets, and
  • Utilize customer facing skills in a timely manner by assisting personnel across the nation
  • Assist customers experiencing problems with IT resources
  • Communicate efficiently and effectively through phone, email, voicemail, instant messaging, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma
  • Provide technical support and customer facing solutions in a 24×7 operations environment
  • Self-motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust
  • Help Desk Institute (HDI) certifications preferred
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Prior experience managing Ticketing Systems, specifically Remedy
