Description:

We are seeking a diligent CTR Analyst to ensure regulatory compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and other Anti-Money Laundering laws. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough research and analysis of company account activities related to currency transactions exceeding $10,000, and timely filing reports with the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).

Contract Term: 6 months, with potential for extension and conversion depending on volume, budget, and performance.

Training Schedule:

Candidates with direct CTR experience will undergo a less formal onboarding/training over 2 weeks.
Candidates without direct CTR experience may need to participate in the full training program (dates and times to be determined), running Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM EST.


Shift Schedule:

Normal business hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST, but flexibility is available.
It is recommended to use the system between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST, ideally aligning with EST/CST working hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive CTR coupons from branches across the credit union involving cash transactions of $10,000 or more.
  • Perform data entry and review coupon data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze transaction data and input details into specific systems.
  • Complete an average of 50-60 cases per day; most cases are straightforward but require precision.

Qualifications:

  • Required experience or understanding of what a CTR involves.
  • Preferred candidates will have direct experience with CTR regulatory compliance.
  • Alternatively, experience in BSA/AML regulations or as Branch Representatives/Tellers with a basic understanding of CTR submission is also valuable.
  • Essential skills include attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly, data accuracy, and strong analytical capabilities.
