Founding Full Stack Engineer

As a founding engineer with Utopia, you will help build + layout our engineering foundation and craft our product backbone. If you’re interested in championing technological leadership in the web3 space, we’d love for you to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the initial scoping of product requirements for new features and products
• Developing products from designs and specifications to live deployments.
• Build out new features and products with the product team.
• Help address customer feature requests
• Build out prospective integrations with partners and protocols
• Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant and reliable using modern tools like React, Typescript, and GraphQL

Requirements:

• Experience with Javascript + front-end frameworks such as React.
• 3+ years development experience using NodeJS, Express, NextJS, or similar
• Solid experience architecting solutions (experience in different architecture layers and components) through multiple frameworks
• Proficiency with Git
• A good understanding of CI/CD

Nice to Have:

• Hackathon experience or competitive programming experience
• Experience contributing to open-source projects
• 1-3+ years full-time software engineering experience
• Experience contributing to open-source projects
• Experience writing smart contracts or building
• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms.
