Location: San Antonio, TX (hybrid)

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of experience using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js and REST API.
  • Strong understanding of client-side scripting.
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Experience with Web performance optimization methods.
  • Experience with debugging client-side scripts.
  • Understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process.
  • Understand recent UI design and development standards and trends.
  • Excellent time-management and multi-tasking.
  • Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time.
  • Capable of mentoring junior team members.
  • Collaborate actively with others in a cross-functional team.
  • Preferred:
    • Good eye for aesthetics: layout, grid systems, color theory and typography.
    • Developing software using disciplined analysis, design, development, and test methods.
    • Understanding of the limitations of web and mobile, with approaches/ideas to flex those boundaries.
    • Developing best-in-class consumer experiences (user interface designs, interaction models, prototypes, etc.) in a fast-paced, agile, start-up-like environment.
    • Must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open and collaborative peer environment.
    • Should be self-driven with basic guidance.
  • Bonus if you have:
    • Experience in designing and building web services, SQL Databases, and cloud-based architectures.
    • Working experience with consuming PnPjs APIs.
    • Working experience with developing and consuming REST APIs.
    • Working experience with C#.NET.
    • Experience with developing custom client scripts for SharePoint.
    • Experience with Angular and TypeScript
    • Experience building PWA apps.
    • Experience with cloud-based services (Azure, AWS, etc.).
    • Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.
    • MCTS or MCPD certifications.
    • BA/BS in related discipline (computer science, etc.) preferred, demonstrated skills and experience will take precedence over education.
    • Members of the Military leaving active duty or veterans.
