Description:

Canada Tax Reviews is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Developer to join our team. You will assist with all functions of software coding and design. Your primary focus will be to learn the codebase, gather user data, and respond to requests from managers.

Responsibilities:

– Integration with various SaaS cloud products using APIs to produce cross-service workflows

– Troubleshooting integration problems and solve data integrity issues across cloud services – Design and deliver company-wide solutions for data management

– Design and maintain the configuration and health of data services across multiple cloud products

– Create front-end data consumption solutions for various company stakeholders (e.g., executives, data scientists, customer support)

Qualifications:

– A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related course

– At least 2 years’ experience working as a Software Developer or DevOps

– Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript

– Knowledge in SQL and familiarity with relational and/or non-relational databases – Experience integrating with services using REST API

– Ability to create Linux system level scripts using bash and Windows batch commands

– Familiarity with common AWS services and ability to create integrated solutions using it

– Familiarly with Github and Github Actions

– Familiarity with front end technologies such as PHP or React

– Basic knowledge about OAuth, https (TLS) and certificates management

– Creative, “Problem Solver”, self-learning and a “Go-getter” attitude

– Familiarity with Hubspot CRM is an asset

– Previous work with financial systems is an asset

– Background in data analysis or statistics is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
