Location: North Potomac, MD
This is a part-time position. Schedule will be Monday, Friday, and a half day on Wednesday.
Responsibilities:
- Provide independent primary health care services, with the ability to consult with a physician as needed
- Assess and manage patients from birth through young adulthood
- Obtain thorough medical history, system review, manage diagnostic testing, and perform physical examination
- Review and manage medications
- Provide coordination of care with physicians and hospitals as needed
- Triage patient phone calls
- Provide vacation coverage as needed
- Provide additional administrative duties to improve patient care, staff interaction and overall practice growth
- Manage behavioral/mental health concerns: ADHD, Anxiety and Depression in adolescents
Qualifications:
- Completion of an approved nurse practitioner program
- Active MD License
- Pediatric experience required
- Professional working pediatric experience preferred
