Responsibilities:
- Provide independent primary health care services, with the ability to consult with a physician as needed by phone
- Assess and manage patients from birth through 21 years of age
- Obtain thorough medical history, system review, manage diagnostic testing, and perform physical examination
- Review and manage medications
- Provide coordination of care with physicians and hospitals as needed
- Triage patient phone calls
- Share evening/weekend call
- Provide vacation coverage as needed
- Provide additional administrative duties to improve patient care, staff interaction and overall practice growth
- Manage behavioral/mental health concerns: ADHD, Anxiety and Depression in adolescents
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of an approved pediatric nurse practitioner program
- Current PA state RN license and CRNP certification
- BSN, MSN preferred
- Minimum of one year experience providing comprehensive primary health care services to pediatric patients
- Current DEA license
Salary : TBD, based on level of experience
Annual CME allowance and paid malpractice insurance
