Location: New York, NY
Responsibilities:
- Ensure clients receive compassionate clinical treatment in accordance with the scope of practice and regulations governing Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics
- Oversee day-to-day operations at the Nathaniel Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), including oversight of the complete array of services as well as oversee and understand the client flow from scheduling to service delivery
- Ensure compliance with all CCBHC procedures and regulations
- Work with the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to implement all aspects of the CCBHC Expansion Grant
- Participate in CCBHC-specific workgroups and convenings including those determined by SAMHSA
- Manage the CCBHC Advisory Workgroup
- Maintain a small caseload of clients presenting with especially complex needs including co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorder
- Coordinate with Program Evaluator and Director of Data Reporting and Analysis to ensure timely and accurate submission of all grant-required data reports and other data requirements
- Be able to perform special projects or assigned tasks by senior leadership
Qualifications:
- New York State LCSW with CASAC credential
- 5+ years of experience in a clinic setting or at least two years of work experience at a licensed mental health or substance use program
- 2+ years in a supervisory role
- Demonstrated expertise in recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, evidence-based practice
- Demonstrated experience with diverse adults receiving mental health treatment, including delivery of treatment to individuals with serious mental illness, functional impairments and psychosocial needs (homelessness, justice involvement, poverty, unemployment)
- Therapist will be expected within six months of employment to receive the Integrated Mental Health/Addictions Treatment Training Certificate (IMHATT).
