Quality Assurance Engineer

Description:

Working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design and product to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for quality across our application portfolio by developing and implementing a strategic approach to quality assurance
• Conducting manual testing for all features delivered by the engineering team, ensuring acceptance criteria are tested for all supported operating systems
• Documenting issues in Jira, with clear steps to reproduce
• Attend planning and feedback sessions, contributing to determine acceptance criteria and test strategies
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, propose solutions, and contribute to the overall enhancement of the QA function

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, for a minimum of three years, with proven experience in QA methodology
• Knowledge of web and mobile testing frameworks, including Cypress or Playwright
• Attention to detail and meticulousness in test case design and defect reporting
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors, with an analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Effective communication and willingness to collaborate across all teams within the organization
• Understanding of Agile frameworks
