FDM’s training is developed in partnership with Salesforce to give you the technical expertise and job-ready skills to launch your exciting career as a Salesforce Developer.

We’re committed to your success, providing you with support and guidance every step of your two-year journey with us.

Upon successful completion of training, you will receive Salesforce Platform Application Builder Certification – a credential which will dramatically boost your CV in the eyes of employers. After starting your placement, you’ll have continued access to online learning resources. After 6-9 months you can be prepared to sit the exam for Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.

Responsibilities:

  • You’ll receive a solid grounding in the three core programmatic technologies used by a Salesforce developer and more.
  • Functional overview of the salesforce platform
  • Apex – Salesforce’s proprietary programming language. Similar to Java.
  • Visualforce – A markup language for creating custom Salesforce pages. Similar to HTML. 
  • Lightning Component Framework – A UI development framework based on java script.
  • Triggers
  • Unit Testing
  • API management

Qualifications:

  • Are you an ambitious and driven graduate with a passion for technology? Then you’re exactly what we’re looking for at FDM. You don’t need to have a background in tech, we welcome candidates from all degree subjects and universities and you do not require any prior experience. If you’re open to learning new skills and working in exciting new environments, then this could be the perfect role for you. You will also need to be:
  • Educated to degree level (2:2 or higher)
  • An excellent communicator
  • Passionate about a career in IT
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Able to commit to the full 2-year graduate careers programme
