Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented CNO Developer Intern to join our team in the Herndon, VA office or as a remote/virtual employee.
Responsibilities:
- Write software in C, Python, and/or assembly language
- Work and collaborate within an agile team as well as with the other interns
- Reverse engineer system components as necessary
- Understand the security of systems
- Research tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, data hiding, and network security and encryption
- Preferences:
- A passion for low-level / embedded software development and engineering
- Strong grasp of operating system fundamentals, including interrupts, threading, virtual memory, device drivers and memory management techniques
- Knowledge and understanding of operating system internals and the integration of code with the operating system kernel
- Experience with reverse engineering
Qualifications:
- Individuals must be a U.S. Citizen and either hold an active US Security Clearance or must be eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

- For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law. ManTech may choose not to apply for a license for such individuals whose access to export-controlled technology or software source code may require authorization and may decline to proceed with an applicant on that basis alone.
