**THIS IS AN UNPAID, VOLUNTEER POSITION**

Main Functional Role: The Google Tag Management (GTM) Specialist (Volunteer) is responsible for managing and implementing tag management solutions to enhance website analytics, marketing automation, and tracking capabilities at WeVote. This role ensures accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting to optimize marketing performance and user experience.

Interactions: This position will work closely with marketing teams, web developers, data analysts, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and functionality of tags across various platforms at WeVote.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage tags using Google Tag Manager to track website and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and development teams to define tagging requirements and ensure proper data collection.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot tag implementation issues to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for tagging processes and best practices.

Technical/Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience implementing and managing Google Tags solutions.
  • Proficiency in Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and other tag management tools.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for custom tag implementations.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics and tracking methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in data management.
  • A bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or Web Development is preferred but not required.
  • In addition, the following certifications such as GTM Certification, Google Analytics Individual Qualification (GAIQ), Google Ads Certifications, and HubSpot Marketing Software Certification would be a major plus.
