Job Summary
About The Team: The Workforce Services Integration Team is focusing on the Integration build in Workday platform (a cloud based HCMS system). Our team specializes on various HCM modules including payroll. Key task items include building new inbound and outbound integrations, building new extend based applications on Workday cloud. Also managing and maintaining 400 integrations on our landscape.
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, design, build, and support new integrations within the Workday system.
- Participate in Workday integration technical design sessions and develop detailed technical solution documentation that is aligned with client business objectives
- Extend applications on Workday.
- Develop, test, and document Workday integrations across HCM, Payroll, Financials and other domains.
- Collaborate with Workday functional team members to translate business requirements into integrated solutions across the Workday platform
- Assist with training non-technical personnel. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in HCM module.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and guidance with regards to practices, procedures and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior-level Software Development Engineers.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience: 5+ years with Workday integrations
- Deep hands on with Workday Studio based integrations including below experience.
- OAuth based API Outbound
- Payroll batch updates inbound from file as well as API.
- Complex XSLT transformation (especially XSLT 3.0)
- Studio starter kit
- Prism integrations (involving data update to prism from external sources/Workday)
- Good hands on with Core Connector (Worker, Org and Position).
- In depth knowledge on at least 2 of the functional modules
- Payroll
- Core HCM
- Learning
- Talent management
- Compensation
- Good hands on the complex advanced report, Calculated fields, EIB & SFTP transmissions.
- Exposure to all Workday APIs and working through postman for any vendor APIs.
- Workday Extend hands on experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of GitHub is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Good communication & co-ordination
- Should be able to handle multiple priorities.
- Work with multiple teams on a given day.
- Good documentation of the development, design, and testing
