At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Data Analyst you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a Data Analyst joining our team to develop customer dashboards, perform deep dive analytics, and deliver customer solutions. As a Data Analyst, you will support customers within GDIT to fulfill multiple federal agency missions.

The TSS Data and Analytics team uses a variety of tools including Azure and Azure DevOps, AWS, and Tableau. The Tableau dashboards provide program management and financial dashboards to customers allowing them to manage risk and provide the essential reporting to their government customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and define industry best practices for decision-making
  • Creating, refining, and delivering reports and dashboards for internal or external purposes
  • Utilize Tableau, excel, and/or other business intelligence tools
  • Provide data analytics and key insights
  • Highlight and define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance across different sections
  • Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to determine feature requests, priorities, dashboards, and solutions.
  • Writing user stories, acceptance criteria, test plans, and retrospectives to improve Agile development processes. 
  • Performing Quality Assurance (QA) testing of new features to ensure that requirements are met, and the resulting user experience works as intended.
  • Participating in and supporting user acceptance testing and the deployment of the solution to production.
  • Preparing and conducting presentations and training materials.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation.
  • Collaborate with a team of developers, analysts, and engineers to deliver on-time Agile sprint releases.

Qualifications:

  • Education:  BA/BS (or equivalent years of experience)
  • Required Experience:  2+ years of experience
  • Security Clearance Level:  Public Trust
  • Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong Excel background; familiarity with other Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Financial analysis – (Funding/Budgets/Expenditures/Profit/Revenue)
  • Experience developing dashboards using Tableau or Power Bi to create professional content
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time.
  • Good team player, able to manage multiple assignments, and adapt to changing client needs.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present to business leaders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
