Coding for Good: Careers in the Nonprofit Sector

About

Have you ever considered the ways you might be able to use your coding skills for good — maybe to help others, or to make the world a better place? If so, check this session out featuring software engineers in the nonprofit sector!

There are approximately 1.8 million nonprofit organizations in the United States dedicated to a wide array of causes, including health, education, human services, the arts, and more. In this event, our panelists share how their career journeys landed them jobs at nonprofit organizations, as well as how they are able to use their coding skills to directly contribute to the missions of their respective organizations. We also cover job seeking tips and interviewing norms in the nonprofit sector, and the ways in which it differs from work at for-profit companies.
