Description:

Our Finance intern will work with the Finance team to prepare & analyze data for internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, product management, and engineering. This person can expect to prepare presentations and create financial models looking at key data, trends, and scenarios. We are looking for someone who possesses a solid understanding of finance, economics, and accounting principles, coupled with a keen analytical mindset, to actively contribute to strategic financial decision-making and support the organization’s financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing an understanding of company operations and reporting tools/practices
  • Assisting with management and executive presentations
  • Conducting market research and data collection to improve market and competitive intelligence
  • Compiling or assisting with data gathering and financial analysis
  • Providing financial support to cross-functional departments
  • Completing ad-hoc and specialized projects that support Finance or Accounting

Qualifications:

  • Pursuant of a 4-year degree program in Finance, Accounting, or Economics  
  • Demonstrates a strong foundation for analytical skills
  • Possesses an understanding of financial modeling
  • Demonstrates organization and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Has an interest in the technology industry and a knack for storytelling with numbers
  • Has at least one term to complete following the Summer of ‘24. We are not considering recent graduates for this position.
