**This position is open to worldwide candidates but you must work US hours.

Razoyo is currently hiring a Senior Developer for our Open Source ecommerce group. You will be responsible for extending, maintaining, and implementing digital commerce solutions for our clients. Successful candidates for this position will generally have three to five years experience in open source customization in one or more of the following platforms:

  • Magento
  • OroCommerce
  • WooCommerce

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately estimating story points based on business requirements documents
  • Property extending platforms using best-practices
  • Trouble-shooting issues reported by clients — sometimes with limited information
  • Recommending changes and improvements to internal processes
  • Properly documenting work in Englis
  • Completing tasks on time in an agile-development environment
  • Maximizing platform performance via configuration
  • Implementing patches and other maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining Jira tickets
  • Participating in team meetings
  • Correctly recording time spent on task using Razoyo timers in real time

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years experience with open-source ecommerce platforms and PHP
  • Strong verbal and written English
  • Quick learner, self-teacher
  • Ability to work constructively in a team
  • Mastery of front end technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
  • Mastery of REST APIs
  • Well-versed in ecommerce systems: payment, shipping, multi-location, catalog structure, etc.
  • Dev Ops: Git, code repositories, security considerations
