Implementation Coordinator

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking an Implementation Coordinator who will assist with implementing a new phone system for retail stores. This will allow the Operations Engineers to focus on telecom service requests and incidents along with several additional telecom initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of telephony implementation and process to ensure end user satisfaction, project continuity, and the timely delivery of services
  • Participate in weekly and monthly telecom meetings to provide input on implementation procedures
  • Answer questions pertaining to open-source telephony configuration and features
  • Set deadlines and assign responsibilities
  • Monitor and summarize progress of site implementation
  • Assist with configuration of telephone, voicemail, and call flows
  • Manage equipment procurement and delivery
  • Coordinate the ordering and porting of DID numbers
  • Be responsible for the project’s commitment to quality
  • Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of processes & customer satisfaction and optimization
  • Lead and direct the work of others
  • Coordinate the implementation with the site support personal
  • Ensure the equipment is ordered and delivered
  • Assist with redirecting inbound phone numbers
  • Provide technical and best practices to the support personnel that are on-site and implementing the phone system

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with project coordination, management, telecommunications administration, phone number, and hardware coordination
  • Must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication
  • Be communicate ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and before large audiences
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
