4D Tech Solutions, a Cognosante company, is seeking an on-site Project Support Specialist to be part of a multi-disciplinary, mission driven team. This position is responsible for performing necessary business activities in support of purchasing, accounting, office management and administrative roles. Additional responsibilities will be to provide business development, marketing, and social media support for 4D Tech Solutions. The ideal candidate will support an integrative product development team which is working on the design, development and commercialization systems for unmanned vehicles and other 4D awarded contracts.


  • Purchase and Accounting:
    • Oversee all steps of the contract and business purchasing process by working closely with technical staff, contracting, accounts payable and vendors  
    • Track contract related expenses and budgets for purchasing-only contracts.
  • Contractual:
    • Assist in preparing monthly reports for all contracts.
    • Communicate with necessary individuals, agencies, and companies to perform job duties.
  • Office Administration:
    • Act as first point of contact between corporate and 4D office.
    • Ensure that office spaces and supplies remain stocked, cleaned and organized.
    • Assist with creating packing slips and shipping labels.
    • Be on-site to receive and sort mail and packages, distribute accordingly and document receipt.
    • Coordinate on and off-site business meals as needed.
    • Answer business phone and check voicemails.
    • Plan company events, including the holiday party and summer picnic
  • Marketing and Business Development:
    • Network through local Chamber of Commerce and other community entities.
    • Utilize media outlets to network, provide company updates, develop each company’s brand, and engage potential customers.
    • Communicate with graphic designer or other independent contractors to create media and marketing material.
    • Support trade show logistics including registration, booth design and set up, marketing materials and shipping items to and from shows.
    • Management of 4D companies’ marketing material including ordering and ensuring we have enough inventory for tradeshows and demonstrations.


  • U.S. Citizen able to pass a background investigation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 2-5 years working in accounting and project management roles.
  • Strong working experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Able to work daily onsite in Fairmont, WV.
