Technatomy is currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in support of our Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veteran Enterprise Module & System Integration Services (VEMSIS) contract.

In this position you will be part of a team responsible for:

  • Delivering lower complexity, modular Low Code-No Code solutions that will enable reusable service-focused software component architectures including PaaS functions/capabilities, SaaS integrations, APIs, and Digital modernization and emerging technology support.
  • Implementing solutions using platforms such as Salesforce/Mulesoft, Pega, MS Dynamics and PowerApps Suite (including PowerBI), and Box.
  • In service under VA’s Digital Transformation Center (DTC), delivering capabilities in the areas of: Case Management Modernization, Data Ops, Applied AI, and Rapid Prototyping.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy modules within SaaS/PaaS environments, focusing on low-code/no-code platforms, requiring an understanding of platforms like Salesforce, MS Dynamics, PEGA, or Box.
  • Implement Agile and DevSecOps methodologies to efficiently deliver high-quality, modular Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), adapting to a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
  • Assist in the transition and transformation of software development processes for existing applications, optimizing current systems, and integrating modern technologies.
  • Provide software development and product delivery support using a variety of modern platforms and tools, ensuring seamless integration between different systems.
  • Deliver efficient DevOps pipeline setup and maintenance in cloud environments, including continuous integration and deployment practices.

Qualifications:

  • One to Four (1-4) years’ experience as a Software Engineer. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing, developing, and deploying modules within SaaS/PaaS environments, especially on LCNC platforms such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, PEGA, or Box. 
  • Experience with integration interfaces such as MuleSoft API Gateway, DTC Integration Platform (DIP), and Lighthouse. 
  • Familiarity with SAFe based team structures and the latest DevSecOps platform tools such as Copado and GitHub, to automate SaaS CI/CD frameworks, SaaS deployments, security, and compliance testing. 
  • KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:
    • Prior VA or Federal Agency experience preferred.
    • Current VA clearance highly desired.
    • Involvement in software development transition activities for existing applications.
    • Prior experience with VA Digital Transformation Center (DTC), VA Enterprise Case Management Solutions (VECMS), or VA Product and Technology Ecosystem Management Service (PTEMS) is a plus.
  • EDUCATION:
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering or other engineering or technical discipline is required. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • CLEARANCE:
    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Active VA Clearance preferred.
