We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing our social media strategy with a strong focus on technical content. You will work closely with the marketing team to create engaging technical content, monitor social media channels, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategies to increase our online presence. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both social media platforms and technical topics, along with excellent communication and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy with a focus on technical content.
  • Create and curate engaging technical posts, articles, videos, and other multimedia content for various social media platforms.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends, relevant news, and discussions related to our products/services.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media into overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and technical content creation.
  • Provide technical support to customers and address inquiries via social media channels.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns and budgets to maximize ROI.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams such as product development, customer support, and sales to ensure alignment of messaging and strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working as a social media specialist or similar role, preferably in a technical or IT-related industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar software.
  • Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and techniques is a plus.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Certification in social media marketing or related fields is a plus.
