Description:

We are seeking an experienced UI Architect who is passionate about creating elegant experiences that align business goals with users’ needs. You will work with business stakeholders, architects, and the UI/UX Team to design and create the best possible user experience, tools, and frameworks. This position will allow you to have wide-reaching influence over the relationship between our users and UWM. 

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and develop extensible enterprise grade software (30-50% development)
  • Establishing and promoting best practices and patterns in software development
  • Identifying opportunities to create reusable components
  • Creating and enforcing architecture standards
  • Mentoring and leading developers
  • Estimating and delegating tasks for larger projects
  • Assisting in setting the roadmap for the future technology stack
  • Collaborating with other architects, developers and business clients to develop enterprise-grade software

Qualifications:

  • Computer-related degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in Software Development (.NET stack required)
  • 5+ years of experience using web-based technologies (ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS)
  • Relational database experience (SQL, Oracle)
  • Experience developing enterprise grade software with MVC
  • Ability to work with limited guidance in a team environment
  • Experience establishing coding standards
  • Communicate complex technical issues and solutions in a clear, simple and understandable way
  • Experience with UML, BPMN, or other diagraming standards
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to multitask and adapt
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Onsite, full-time attendance
