The Customer IT Digital Team at one of our largest Fortune 200 Energy clients are actively seeking a UI/UX Designer to join their growing team. The team is currently implementing a new software to build a library of design templates for mass emails to customers to replace their current 3rd party vendor. The selected UI/UX Designer will be working with the new technology vendor, alongside our client, to help build new design HTML front-end templates that can be stored and replicated.
Coming in as the UI/UX Designer, you will utilize your UI/UX background, front-end development experience, and creativity to effectively embed the new design templates and co-create a library with the new software platform. You will be able to work autonomously and be eager to learn and grow in an agile, cross-functional environment. Responsibilities:
- Learn and upskill in client’s new software for email design templates.
- Collaborate with the product teams to make sure the design process is driven from UX.
- Develop front-end code in HTML and replicate code to implement into different email services and create new designs.
- Co-create a series of templates, designing, testing email layouts, and setting up the environment with the new software platform.
- Work directly with the marketing team to effectively launch the new design tool.
- Support a larger company initiative to modernize and streamline applications for more accessible and higher quality designs.
- Ideate, design, and develop process and technology improvements such as process or test automations.
- Independently meet with business groups involved in miscellaneous projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Digital Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience with product design, UX/UI design, content design and/or user research.
- Must have a portfolio of design work to share during interviews.
- Experience with front-end development, using languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
- Experience working with Figma for creating mock-ups, wireframes, and prototyping.
- Demonstrated strong teamwork skills with self-motivation to achieve success in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Able to effectively communicate highly technical information in non-technical terminology (written and verbal), as well as excellent analytical, organizational, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
6 Month Contract
