We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Website Maintenance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the functionality, security, and performance of our company’s websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular updates and maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of company websites.
• Monitor website performance, uptime, and security, and promptly address any issues or anomalies.
• Conduct routine backups of website data and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement website enhancements and new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to website functionality, usability, and performance.
• Manage domain registrations, hosting accounts, and SSL certificates for company websites.
• Implement and maintain website analytics tools to track visitor behavior and performance metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies, trends, and best practices in website maintenance and security.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and assist with website-related inquiries.
• Develop and document website maintenance procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working as a website maintenance specialist or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of web development languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal.
• Familiarity with website hosting platforms and server administration, including cPanel and Plesk.
• Proficiency in website monitoring and management tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and uptime monitoring services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of website security best practices and techniques for securing websites against cyber threats.
• Experience with website performance optimization and SEO best practices is a plus.
• Certification in web development, website maintenance, or related fields is a plus.
