Description:
We are seeking an End User Support Specialist for our Branch Operations and Deployment team in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will provide technical support across our network of 60+ sites, comprising distribution and manufacturing facilities. This role involves handling daily tickets and participating in project-based work as needed. Additionally, there may be responsibilities related to shipments and returns at our Mundelein and Northfield locations. The role demands adaptability and operates within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain packing materials from storage and assemble pallets.
- Label containers, container tags, and products.
- Inspect materials, products, and containers.
- Ensure proper inventory documentation for received items.
- Maintain orderly work area and equipment.
- Process tickets in queue and update with relevant notes.
- Collaborate with local branch technicians and management to maintain and optimize equipment.
- Occasional work in other Chicagoland corporate offices may be required.
- Perform any other necessary tasks.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience in a similar field or related area.
- Strong troubleshooting skills (2+ years) in Desktops/Laptops, Laser and Zebra printers, Network, DNS, AD, SCCM, and other components.
- Demonstrated customer service experience (2+ years) with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, Zebra and Laser Printers.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to read and understand tickets and verify contents.
- Exercise sound independent judgment when assigned tasks.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to brand integrity.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiastic team player with creative problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of VMware is a plus.
- Openness to direction and constructive criticism.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capability to lift/maneuver up to 50+ lbs.
- Willingness to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch for extended periods.
- Up to 25% travel may be required.
- Participation in monthly on-call rotation.
