Responsibilities

You will be part of a team responsible for improving, maintaining, and implementing the Store Systems/IT quality assurance processes. This includes developing testing procedures for all new Store Systems Software and other IT software as required.

  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies, approaches, planning, QA processes, defect, and metrics tracking
  • Perform QA engineering tasks for testing components of complex web-based applications and their associated components
  • Participate in business requirements and functional specifications reviews early in the software development lifecycle with Agile and SCRUM processes
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers to develop, test, and document QA plans for new releases
  • Analyze requirements, devise a test strategy, develop high-level test scenarios, and elaborate them into detailed test cases
  • Conduct various types of testing, including exploratory, automated, black box, regression, security, integration, end-to-end, sanity, and user acceptance testing
  • Document software defects in an issues tracking system, communicate issues with developers and product managers, use automation tools to standardize testing, and update automation scripts as required due to software changes
  • Manage scheduling, identify and report risks, and propose methods to control or mitigate risks

Qualifications

  • 2+ years or software QA experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Enterprise software automation testing tool such as Selenium WebDriver, and UFT
  • Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
  • Technologies desired: TFS, SharePoint, SQL, MS Office
  • Knowledge of Internet/web technologies, such as web browsers/servers, HTML/XML, CSS, XPATH etc
  • Good understanding of web-based service-level interaction a plus, for example, ability to debug/trace low level HTTP(s) data interchange
  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B. S.) in Computer Science or Engineering from four-year College or university; at least four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
