Position Summary 

The Adobe Data Architect provides a key technical and strategic role in the enablement of Adobe data and marketing technology. This person will leverage technical expertise and platform knowledge to enable Adobe Experience Platform and associated applications, ultimately aiding in meeting  and exceeding our clients goals. 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and supporting applications (CJA, JO, RT-CDP) architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with all relevant standards.
  • Translate client requirements into technical designs and define end-to-end architecture for marketing platforms.
  • Integrate AEP and its application solutions with Adobe Experience Cloud solutions to drive use cases.
  • Strategize, architect and document a scalable CDP implementation, tailored to the client’s needs
  • Develop and implement CJA and/or AJO campaigns and workflows based on business requirements.
  • Evaluate new product features, conduct POCs, and leverage AI capabilities of AEP.
  • Manage a team of developers and quality engineers to ensure the highest quality of solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and security, to ensure the platform’s scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Conduct code reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives.
  • Oversee data management, including building XDM schemas for batch and streaming datasets, configuring Source and Destination connectors, and ensuring data governance and security policies are in place, especially in regulated industries.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record and technical expertise in AEP and relevant applications stack (AJO/CJA/RT-CDP) and Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Hands-on experience in complex segment configuration and Adobe Campaign engagement or other CDP platforms.
  • Proficient knowledge of core web technologies, including XML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (preferably using SPA), and RESTful implementations.
  • Expertise with WebSDK (previously Alloy.js) 
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM).
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in data management, including data mapping, governance, and schema creation.
  • Technical certifications across one or more Adobe products are advantageous.
