Description:

SkillStorm is actively seeking Full-time Entry-Level ServiceNOW Developers in Chicago, IL for one of our enterprise clients. This position will receive 12 weeks of training (40 hours/week) to ensure they are ready to hit the ground running day one on the job!  This position will be on-site and requires the ability to obtain a  Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications/modules, including incident management, change management, problem management, service catalog, and other IT service management processes.
  • Customize ServiceNow workflows, forms, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, and other elements to meet business needs.
  • Develop low-code solutions in ServiceNow using Flow Designer
  • Configure ServiceNow integrations with other systems and applications, utilizing REST, SOAP, and other integration methods.
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and performance analytics to provide insights and drive decision-making.
  • Develop customized applications using JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow REST/SOAP web services, HTML, CSS, and Jelly scripting.
  • Create, configure, and execute automated test scripts with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to validate ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations, to ensure reliability, quality, and compliance with business requirements.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Required
  • Experience with software development using a modern OOP language (Java, C#, or similar) with a strong understanding in programming, data structures, algorithms, databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of IT service management processes
  • Familiarity with integration tools and APIs (e.g., REST API, SOAP API).
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. under SkillStorm’s W2; not a C2C position. EOE, including disability/vets.
  • Must be willing to relocate
  • Strong technical mind-set, including problem solving, troubleshooting, logical reasoning
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
