HireCapital is partnered with a commercial and residential construction company with four offices in the DMV area. Having been around for 70 years, they pride themselves on giving their clients prompt, professional and quality experience no matter how minor or substantial the project may be. Due to their constant growth, they are seeking a candidate who shares the same core values to join their team for IT Support.

About the Position:

This position will be directly supporting the company’s IT manager with all IT related support issues. They will have the chance to gain knowledge in server and network administration through training and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software.
• Diagnose and repair damaged hardware; replace components, as necessary.
• Perform software upgrades and updates to ensure system security and functionality.
• Provide on-site support to various offices within the DMV area as needed.
• Collaborate with the IT team to perform additional duties as assigned.
• Maintain user permissions and access controls using Active Directory.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system glitches related to server and network related issues.
• Document IT processes and procedures within Salesforce.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in an IT Support related role.
• Vocational background with strong foundational knowledge in IT, certifications, or a degree preferred.
• Experience with Office 365, Exchange Online, and Azure Active Directory.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to occasionally work after hours and travel to other branches as needed.
• Must pass a drug test and adhere to our drug-free workplace policy.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware is a plus.
• Proficiency in systems and networking software, hardware, and protocols is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus.
