Description:

As a Network Analyst, you will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining our client’s data center network infrastructure. The Network Analyst will play a critical role within this team in responding to incident tickets and supporting network transformation projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to grow their career network technology within the energy and utilities sector.

Hybrid – 3 days/week in office

12 month contract-to-hire

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in supporting network infrastructure components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives.
  • Implement security measures to protect the integrity and confidentiality of network data.
  • Assist in the documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Help support data center-related network enterprise projects.
  • Run scripts to automate various network administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and firewalls, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPN
  • Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience supporting and configuring routers and switches.
  • Hands-on experience with configuring and managing routers and switches.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
