We are looking for a Senior Mobile Software Developer to join Financeit and to help our company in pursuit of our vision and goals! We are looking for someone with native experience, not only working on native/hybrid apps, so that we can improve our mobile app with the potential for more native functionality. This role would be instrumental in shaping the future evolution of Financeit’s mobile apps.  With the frontend guild, you’ll collaborate closely with a diverse group of skilled developers to determine the optimal path forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Designing and writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Delivering new features, fixing defects, and improving the existing codebase.
  • Helping design the mobile app architecture and make choices for long term maintainability of this codebase.
  • Engage in the development of mobile applications and web applications.
  • Working closely with other Developers, Product Managers, Designers, Testers and Business Stakeholders to understand and gather requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing native and hybrid apps on iOS and Android (on swift and kotlin specifically).
  • Good knowledge of accessibility and mobile performance.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in writing modern html, css and javascript (using frameworks like tailwind, MUI and react, svelte, or ember).
  • Curiosity and excitement about technology, continuous learning and development.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Committed to embracing the Agile principles for efficient and responsive delivery.
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS, Ruby on Rails, Ember will be an added advantage.
